Do Reolink cameras need a subscription?
Reolink cameras record to local storage without a subscription. Without a plan Reolink cameras record to a microSD card, a Home Hub, an NVR or FTP/NAS, with free remote viewing, alerts and person, vehicle and animal detection. Reolink Cloud is optional and records motion events only. Reolink's public US cloud page lists only LTE plans for its 4G cameras, and Reolink support says US LTE plans don't support Wi-Fi cameras. The Canadian page lists plans for Wi-Fi, PoE and battery cameras, currently shown as sale prices, so we don't list them as standing prices. Checked 2026-10-28.
