Without a plan, the Blink Wired Floodlight Camera has this recording option: No cloud clips. Local clips with a Sync Module 2 and USB drive, or a Sync Module XR and microSD card. A paid Blink Subscription Plan adds cloud video history; the cheapest cloud tier costs $3.99 a month. It lists at $99.99, so three years costs about $244. Power: hardwired to an existing light fixture.

Subscription: what's free and what isn't

Without a plan you get live view (5-minute sessions), motion alerts and two-way audio. Clips save locally for free with a Sync Module 2 and a USB drive, or a Sync Module XR and a microSD card, both sold separately. The Sync Module XR+ (announced October 21, 2026) also takes a microSD card.
