Without a plan, the Arlo Essential (3rd Gen) Battery has this recording option: No cloud history. Local recording only through an Arlo SmartHub or Base Station, or a microSD card in Arlo Go 2. A paid Arlo Secure plan adds cloud video history; the cheapest cloud tier costs $9.99 a month. It lists at $69.99, so three years costs about $430. Power: rechargeable battery. The legacy specification-based estimate is about 27 ft by day and 27 ft at night across 130°; the interactive Planner uses a separate illustrative view, not an identification guarantee.
