The Ring Outdoor Cam Plus needs a paid Ring Protect plan to save any video; the cheapest one that records costs $4.99 a month. Power: rechargeable battery, plugs into an outdoor outlet, solar + battery, hardwired to an existing light fixture and poe (one ethernet cable for power and video). The legacy specification-based estimate is about 21 ft by day and 21 ft at night across 140°; the interactive Planner uses a separate illustrative view, not an identification guarantee.
